apparently one of our mensa grade desk jockeys thought it’d be a great idea to attend a football party with about 200 people and then work for a week with a cold before deciding he should maybe get tested

pretty much the whole office is now positive or awaiting test results

gonna be smooth sailing for a couple weeks without those jackasses around to complicate things

also they were planning to not tell the floor staff...but the team leads ratted them out

anyhoo...funny as im finding this....its getting a little close for comfort...lol

It’s a shame that blind stupidity is both common and, in these scenarios, so devastating to other people.

It’s like I told someone in high school who drove at crazy speeds down back roads: I don’t care if y ou kill yourself , but you’re going to kill someone else.

tbh...im beginning to think you could mostly swap management/execs between companies and nobody would notice a difference

The problem is balancing HIPPA and employee health and safety. You can’t rat out who has the virus Now the appropriate thing to do is to send everyone who has had contact to get tested while remaining anonymous

But the scared weasels did nothing which is wrong and made things worse and outed patient zero which could bite the company in the ass.
